Cartoons are more than just humor – they are art with a wink. They put a finger on the wound, mirror our society, and make people from all over the world laugh and think.
This winter, at the Cultural Center De Scharbiellie in De Panne, you can discover a selection of the finest cartoons from the 25th edition of the Euro-kartoenale ‘The Hat – Hats off!’
As always, the exhibition shows how diverse cartoonists can be when working around a single theme. At De Scharbiellie, you will find a selection of the 50 best cartoons – stimulating, witty, and at times surprisingly moving.
The exhibition can be visited free of charge from Tuesday to Sunday, between 2 and 6 p.m.
Closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
